Cat Found Duct Taped Inside Apartment Complex Clothes Dryer

Riverside, CA – Some idiot(s) are having a blast abusing cats at a Riverside apartment complex. The latest involved a 4-year-old tabby who just had a litter of kittens. A resident at Highlander Park Apartments found the cat inside wrapped in duct tape inside a dryer in the complex’s laundry room. The blood and fur inside the dryer suggest whoever placed her in the dryer also turned it on. “This is an act of a coward,” Sgt. Sanders said. “Who would do something like this to a defenseless animal? I hope the person is found and brought to justice.” Veterinarians removed the duct tape from the cat and treated her for a lost tooth and a busted blood vessel in her eye. Shelter workers have named her "Snuggles". Officers searched the complex for Snuggle’s litter, but were only able to find one kitten and brought back to Snuggles at the shelter. Authorities would really like some help finding the assholes who did this, so call 951-358-PETS (7387) if you have any information.
